Equestrienne is a personal b.e.house style journey for me, with deep connections to the nuances of English country life. As a designer, a liberty trainer, and an equine rehabber, it is all about sanctuary. I was a late bloomer when a horse came into my life in 2004; his name was Joey’s Mandate. He was my second thoroughbred foal as a novice handler. Our journey deeply affected what horses mean to me as sentient beings. My style is immersive, influenced by the vivid storytelling style of English designer Timothy Oulton. It is an emotional deep dive into symbolism and interpretation, not the obvious. Aligning with colleagues for healthy, stable design and sustainable management, we can take this from your living room to the barn.
